Sarah and Ryan’s charming autumn Paso Robles wedding was definitely worth the wait. Again, like so many couples, they were forced to delay their marriage due to the pandemic. It was originally a spring wedding that was moved to the fall. Turns out that was Sarah’s dream all along.
Growing up, Sarah always talked about having a fall wedding. However, when you’re in love and engaged, all you want is to get married whenever you possibly can so they made the decision to get married in the spring! In my opinion, COVID-19 took so much from this couple, the least it could do was make Sarah’s dream a reality…

Amanda Holder Events was a fantastic wedding day manager for Sarah & Ryan’s autumn Paso Robles Wedding and helped try the whole day together. Kasie & Patrick from SLO Town Studios helped capture the movement of the day overall.
Sarah’s autumn bouquet from Fluidbloom is one of the most beautiful bouquets I’ve ever seen. The bridesmaids’ rust colored dresses from Revelry perfectly accentuated the fall colors.
Their wedding was held at Opolo Vineyards, and I can’t think of anywhere better to capture the feel that the couple was going for than at Opolo.
WEDDING DETAILS
Their first look was so special. They stood back to back, allowing them to see each other at the same time. This is actually my favorite way to do first looks. Sarah & Ryan had the opportunity to read personal vows to each other before we gallivanted off for more photos.
Sarah & Ryan’s officiant is an ex pro-golfer who currently resides in Hawaii. She incorporated traditional leis into their ceremony. Then as part of their ceremony, the bride and groom bestowed them upon family members. As they walked down the aisle, their guests tossed dried flower petals at them – my new favorite way to walk down the aisle!
Sarah & Ryan’s autumn wedding day was perfectly overcast with the most beautiful cotton candy sunset. Opolo Vineyard’s hilltop ceremony site was the perfect setting for their sunset photos, undoubtedly. As a matter of fact, it made for the most romantic vibes.
I will forever remember Sarah and Ryan’s Charming Autumn Paso Robles Wedding in California. The moments that I was able to capture came out amazing, and I am so grateful for the opportunity.
