Who's your dream couple?

If you like pretty pictures and know how to throw a great party, we might be meant to be.

I love a couple who isn't afraid to celebrate who they are. People who ditch the meaningless traditions and trade them for ones that actually matter: traditions that are passed down from family or they've made them up as a couple.

My couples treat their friends like family and are friends with their family. They go all out for the people who are important to them and are excited to treat their guests to an unforgettable party.

Couples who are real...who are head-over-heels in love...who aren't afraid of "all the feels"...who will climb "one more rock" to get to that epic scenery all while wearing their fabulous attire.

And if you decide to cut a cake...major brownie points if you smash it into each other's faces...AFTER your sunset portraits, of course!

Sound like you? Let's get connected!

What's your "style"?

I would describe my images as fine-art with a twist. Fine-art for me refers to how I capture your images and color them. I will always choose natural light if I can. And my editing style is timeless: green will look'll still like your photos in 20 years. The twist is every wedding is unique because every couple and their love story is unique. I'm not trying to fit you into a box. My work has a hint of editorial (classic, lookin' good posing) with a focus on capturing the connection between my couples and the fun they had on their wedding day.

When you look at your photos, I want you to remember the excitement as you got ready, the cheers at your first kiss, the calm of your sunset portraits...and the wildness of a great party!

Can we meet you?

Absolutely! If you're not local to San Luis Obispo County, we'll schedule a video chat to get to know you as a couple. If you are local, I'd love to treat you to coffee at Scout 2 (or something a little fancier at your favorite brewery, winery, or cocktail bar). I'd love to hear all about your story, your wedding details, and anything else you want to talk about!

Do you travel?

CALIFORNIA // Travel to your wedding location has already been factored in. You have enough going on, the last thing you need is to worry about is our travel arrangements.

OUT OF STATE & INTERNATIONAL // I've had the pleasure of photographing international weddings in Australia, England, and Canada. Our world is full of amazing locations. Getting married at one of them? Let’s talk! My bags are packed and my passport is up to date.

We're ready! How do we book?

First, I’ll build a personalized timeline and quote to match your requested services. Your timeline will change over the course of your engagement, but I like to create it early so that you can have a baseline moving forward with your planning. Once your package and timeline is approved, I’ll send you a digital contract to sign. After you've signed your contract and retainer has been received, your date is officially booked! YAY!

How long have you been doing this?

2020 will be my ELEVENTH wedding season – gasp! Time flies! I started photographing weddings in 2009 after graduating from Cal Poly SLO and fell in love with the industry. I bought a bajillion wedding magazines and studied everything I could. I owe everything to my first couple who took a chance on a newbie and gave me my start.

How long is an engagement session?

I usually schedule 2 hours before sunset. My engagement guide is full of tips on what to wear and what to bring. Send me a message so I can email it to you!

Do you offer albums?

Sure do! Please contact me for my album guide.

Whats the average turn around time for images?

Engagement photos can be expected in about 2 weeks and wedding photos can be expected in roughly 4-6 weeks after the wedding. Images may take longer if a second photographer was included in your package. If purchased, your usb drive should arrive about 1 week after your images are released onto your gallery.

How do you choose a second photographer?

I choose a shooter based on who would be the best fit for your wedding. I have had the opportunity to meet some wonderful photographers in the industry. I have some regulars that I absolutely LOVE working with who are consistent with my style. They are professional wedding photographers as well who are simply not booked on your date. I also shoot for them when I don’t have weddings booked.
