All your favorite people in one place

That alone is cause for celebration. Add your wedding vows on top, and this moment … this day … this whole weekend is going to be unforgettable!

That’s why it’s so important to you to spend this wedding weekend reveling in every part of the experience. The afternoons at the winery and pure gold sunsets at the beach … intimate, cozy dinners and the retro–goodness of saltwater taffy at the pier.

Your wedding photography should capture all that and more—the heart and soul of who you are and where you’re celebrating.

"I'll cherish these photos all of my days"

"Jess, I cannot express how much it means to me that you are capturing the sweetest moments of my wedding!"

— Melanie & Brett

Every time you hold your images in your hand or pass them on your walls, I want you to recognize the moment, to relive the feeling

…Your partner’s head thrown back in laughter

…A quiet moment as you soak it all in

…Sharing a cocktail with your friends after sunset portraits

You know your wedding is just one day, but what a day it was. And what a way to remember it all.

Whether a whole weekend or a day, you cannot wait to go all out with your favorite people. And it shows in the details and personal touches you two have planned for your celebration. Your wedding photography should capture your story with a sense of meaning and place. Images that’ll become preserved memories to pass down.

You chose your details

with intention

You chose to share your vows along the Central Coast for a reason, and you’re each choosing details of your wedding for a reason too. Honoring those details is such an important part of wedding photography, from documenting the font of your invitations to the shape of your heels to the shade of the flowers.

The meaning behind

each tradition

You two are creating a wedding weekend that brings together everyone and everything you hold dear. That matters, and it matters to me to capture it. From Tea Ceremonies to the Sofreh Aghd to a full Catholic Mass, I want to document the traditions you’ve chosen to celebrate the start of your marriage.

The truth of

quiet moments

I am all about elevated portraits and editorial style, but there’s just something so real about the quiet moments. I have an image from my own wedding where I’m smiling just slightly. I just look so content, like everything in that moment was exactly as it should be. I want to capture moments like these for you two as well.

The Process

01 Inquire

First thing first, fill out my simple contact form. I’ll share my investment guide and then we’ll meet (over Zoom, or however you prefer) to get to know each other. I am selective with the number of couples I’ll work with each year, so if we work together, you can be confident you have all my support and care.

02 Custom Planning
Custom Planning

Planning now means no stress later. That’s basically my mantra for all things in life. That means I’ve got color-coded spreadsheets, questionnaires galore, and flexibility to pivot when necessary. I work seamlessly with your wedding planner and vendor team to make sure you can be totally present on your wedding day.

03 Engagement Session
Engagement Session

Most wedding packages come with an engagement session, which is a relaxed, carefree photo session focused on you two. We can hang out right here along the Central Coast and SLO, or I can come to you. Let’s chat about it!

04 Wedding Day!
Wedding Day!

It’s finally here! I’ve coordinated with your planner and have prepped for your timeline and photo needs, with plenty of padding and flexibility. My goal for you is to be so comfortable that you forget you’re having photos taken. Focus on this amazing day with your amazing people—you can trust that I know exactly what you want and will capture each moment.

Image Delivery

My attention doesn’t end when you two take off in your get-away car. I take care to hand-edit each image to show the real beauty of your story. I edit with a classic, true-to-life style that will stand the test of time. You can expect delivery of your fully edited images 6-8 weeks after your wedding.

The Nostalgia of Film

hybrid digital and film photography

Film has a nostalgic quality—it’s connected to images of our parents and grandparents—yet still feels so immediate. When you hold a film photo in your hands, it takes you right back to the moment. As a hybrid digital and film photographer, I shoot primarily on digital but I love the chance to capture your wedding day on film too.

I think of film on your wedding day as an added bonus. It doesn’t work for everyone or in every situation, but I really love to capture moments on film whenever possible. If film is something you’re excited about having on your wedding day, let’s connect.

"I was in tears looking through all of the perfect memories she captured."

Jessica was amazing! During and after our wedding so many of our guests complimented on how awesome our photographer was and mentioned she was everywhere, capturing all the special moments. I could not be happier with our experience.

— Jess & Jeff
