Ariel and Bruno’s Coastal Ventana Grill Pismo Beach Wedding in California had such a unique retro vibe. With its scalloped edged invites, mismatched bridal dresses in the colors of blue, green, and coral, and Bruno’s tie of animals was such a mix of fun, sweet and funky. Bruno is originally from New Orleans. Of course, his tie had to be covered in alligators, flamingos, and turtles.

Rachel of Eden Floral‘s bouquets and centerpieces had colorful dahlias that matched perfectly with Ariel and Bruno’s design. Ariel wore an off-the-shoulder BHLDN classic wedding gown, and Bruno was in a blue suit with the best ties and hot pink socks.
Bruno’s brother married him and Ariel. I love when the couple has someone they know to share a little about them. Then, Ariel and Bruno planted a lemon tree with dirt from each other’s hometowns.
They chose Ventana Grill because Ariel’s family spent every summer in Pismo Beach. They surprised their guests with a trivia game during dinner and the winning guests got Mardi-Gras beads. (An obvious nod to the groom’s New Orlean’s roots).
The summer sun came and went, occasionally hiding behind a cloud, but gave us the most gorgeous sunset. I snuck April & Bruno away for sunset photos (my favorite) before they partied the night away.
