Bec & Nick’s Alaska glacier wedding was out of this world. They tied the knot through the Alaska Glacier Lodge‘s helicopter tour to the Knik Glacier in Palmer Alaska. I was not only honored to be there to witness their elopement, but I had the honor of photographing this unique experience. Megan Rai was there to document the adventure cinematically. Bec & Nick then played their wedding video at their reception later that year.

The Riverside Airbnb
Bec & Nick stayed the night before at The Riverside AK Airbnb a-frame. It was the perfect getting ready spot. The airbnb featured a hot tub, gorgeous sunset views and clean aesthetics for getting ready photos. Kelsey with Lipstick & Bobbypins did the bride’s hair and make up.
Helicopter at Alaska Glacier Lodge
After getting ready, the couple did a first look at the airbnb before heading over to the Alaska Glacier Lodge for their helicopter tour. The bride’s parents were in attendance and the ceremony officiated by the helicopter pilot. The couple explored the Knik Glacier for more photos and even scooped up and then toasted with glacier water. “Magical” doesn’t do this experience justice.
Dinner at Chop House
After their Alaska Galcier wedding, the couple and their guests dined at Chop House at Lake Lucille in Wasilla, Alaska. It was the perfect spot to celebrate. The frozen lake provided a beautiful view to enjoy their reception dinner. The staff and food were incredible.
The little details of their Alaska Glacier Wedding
The bride’s dress came from DORRis Wedding while the groom’s attire came from Men’s Wearhouse. The flowers in the bouquet and boutonniere were made of wood and dyed, from Sola Wood Flowers.

As Bec & Nick are fans of Disney’s Haunted Mansion and Halloween you can see their co-ed bridal shower here.
