I was so honored to photograph Kimberly & Derrick’s wedding! Kimberly & I met a few years ago while photographing kid’s yearbook pictures – working with children in high volume early in the morning, you bond quickly with your co-workers. ;) Kimberly has such a happy spirit and brings so much joy. She is bubbly & bright and cares deeply about other people. She is also, a wonderful photographer (which made this wedding extra special)- you can check out her work here!

Kimberly & Derrick held their intimate ceremony on Huntington Beach and their reception at the Ayres Hotel, where Derrick is a chef.  You can tell how much he is loved by the smiles of everyone around him. I loved getting to know him and Kimberly as a couple during their engagement session.  I remember chatting with Kimberly in excitement after I found out she was engaged and now, I get to show off their beachy-wedding’s spunk & style, enjoy!

Kimberly & Derrick are magnets to photobombers!! These ladies wanted a pic with the bride & groom on their way to prom!

Kimberly’s toss bouquet was in 3 separate chunks! No one knew until she threw it – we had 3 lucky bouquet-catchers!

We had to grab a picture together: Danielle worked with Kimberly & I doing yearbook photography – it was SO nice seeing each other again!!
