Christine & Holly’s LGBTQ+ Courthouse Wedding in Santa Barbara will definitely go down in history as one of my favorite weddings! I love elegant and big marriages, but I can’t lie that I LIVE for a good, simple courthouse wedding! It was just so intimate and full of nothing less than lots of love and laughter.
COURTHOUSE WEDDING DETAILS
The thing that stood out to me the most was how Christine looked at Holly. You could tell they were living their fairytale and as their wedding photographer, I was SWOONING!
They wore the same dress, just in different colors, and it was so dreamy! One was emerald green and the other was matte blue! Both colors complemented their floral bouquets perfectly!
Christine also wore heirloom charms on her shoes, one of a cross and one of a baseball.
Their pastor from Christ Chapel of the Valley married them after Christine & Holly walked down the aisle to begin their sweet ceremony together. The best part of the ceremony was when they had to tie a “fishing knot” as part of their ceremony as an ode to their love of fishing. They even had a custom fishing lure made with the date of their wedding! I mean, I don’t think I can think of anything more adorable!
Jesse Davis played the guitar as Christine & Holly’s friends and family watched them blend their lives and families. It was truly beautiful, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in that courthouse!
Shalhoob’s Funk Zone Patio made a gorgeous array of delicious sliders and appetizers for Christine and Holly’s guests to enjoy. Guests played cornhole and rocked out “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond.
