Without a doubt, Molly and Zack’s Destination Wedding at High Ridge Manor in Paso Robles has been one of my favorite experiences. I am grateful to them for letting me be a part of it!
When I found out that these two were Cal Poly Slo Alums, I was automatically drawn to them! My husband and I met there. Because of this, I could already tell that we were all going to get along perfectly.
One of the couple’s biggest requests was to include their daughter, Margot. Having kids at your wedding can sometimes be hit or miss because it is such a long day! However, Margot was the sweetest and so chill the entire time!
She loved wearing her tulle dress because it made her feel like a princess, but she could not be bothered with the flower crown that had been custom-made for her. With this in mind, she did settle on a matching hair clip with her mom which turned out to be perfect! She was one of the best flower girls I have ever seen! She absolutely rocked it!

Zack and Molly were very purposeful in their wedding planning! They had the most intricate details I have ever seen, without a doubt!
That being said, here are some of my favorites from their wedding!
Candlelit Wedding Dinner
As foodies, Molly & Zack hosted a 6-course candlelit dinner (complete with a sommelier). Not only were there candles, BUT it was held in a tunnel of lights. I mean, can you get more romantic than that?!
Surprise Marriage Licence Signing
They had a surprise for their guests when they paused mid-ceremony to have witnesses sign their marriage license. The catch? They didn’t know who the witnesses were going to be.
Two special pens were placed randomly somewhere amongst the guests’ chairs. As a result, those who ended up with the pens would be chosen the two lucky people to be their witnesses.
Their reasoning behind this was that they believed that if you are were there for their special day, then you were important enough to be a witness on their license.
A Champagne Tower
To kick off their cocktail hour, Molly & Zack had the ultimate toast, a champagne tower. During this time, their guests were invited to grab a glass and cheers to get the party started.
Live Music
I truly believe that this wedding stood out to me because the live music was incredible. The musician, Neil, performed cover songs all through the evening and easily MC’ed for toasts. In essence, it was such an elegant and romantic alternative to a DJ.
Yummy Food
Chef Anthony with The Prancing Chef served the most decadent 6-course dinner alongside Laura, a certified sommelier to introduce each wine. Zack works in the wine industry so of course, they featured wine from his winery.

This sensational look at a destination wedding at High Ridge Manor in Paso Robles, California never ceases to blow me away. I am able to capture weddings all of the time, but I do not think I will ever get over just how incredible it is to witness the love between two individuals!
