INSPIRATION
In short, Kaylyn (Bundle + Bash) and I (Jessica Sofranko) felt that couples in the planning process needed to experience some joy!
We melded modern, playful colors with the natural softness of the vineyards. Undoubtedly, HammerSky Vineyards provided the perfect blank slate for our pops of color and fun to truly shine
DECOR AND DETAILS
Basically, we decided that we wanted this to be a dream. Bundle + Bash came up with fun, and out-of-the-box ways to spice up a wedding day so she brought in balloons, a letter marquee, a sweetheart picnic, anything that screamed our vision.
Our friends at Look Good on Paper Co provided stationary full of texture with tassels and wax stamps partnered with contemporary diamond edges. To illustrate, picture the most beautiful stationery you have ever seen. That image still wouldn’t even come close to how incredible they were!
Subsequently, our modern hand-painted ceremony boxes and chairs were softened with a movement piece of florals, fruit, and ceramic vases from Elegant Details.
Our couple happily cheered in front of an organic balloon installation by The Collective Co. Alpha-Lit Central Coast lit up our display with a marquee of letters – great for an open-air photo booth furthermore!
COCKTAIL HOUR AND CAKE
One of my favorite parts was the set that Project XO set up! It included the cutest sweetheart picnic as a romantic alternative to typical cocktail hour seating to enjoy wine and appetizers.
In addition to these were linen tablecloths, amber goblets, and tasseled menus, the lush florals draped off of our tablescape inspired by our ceremony backdrop.
The Wooden Spoon carried our inspiration through into the cake with a clean base, touch of gold leaf, and bold florals placed on a wooden stand.
MY TAKEAWAYS
However, what I really think brought the night together, was the infamous large oak tree known as “Uncle Ben”. He brought the venue to life among the budding vineyards. Both of these caught the evening sunlight adding a touch of magic to the evening.
Reminiscing on the day, I am overwhelmed by the beauty of it all. Our vendors produced fantastic work while our engaged-in-real-life couple was full of laughs as they anticipated a wedding day of their own.
