Kelly & Andy’s Swallow Creek Ranch Central Coast Wedding in Cayucos was one of my favorite weddings of all time. Everything from the vintage Volkswagon Bus, New Orlean’s French Quarter styled parade, and the Thriller and “Stout & Cookies.”
Kelly got ready in downtown Cayucos before heading over to the Cayucos bluff for her first look with Andy. A vintage green VW bus set the scene for their first look, and I’m officially obsessed with it. Not only did we get to take a ton of photos with it, but it was also the car that carried Kelly for her grand ceremony entrance.
Oh, but if you thought Kelly’s entrance was cool, just wait! Kelly & Andy led all of their guests to the reception in a New Orleans-style parade. They even had a boom box! If that doesn’t scream fun then I don’t know what does.
At the wedding, each table was named after a location on the Central Coast. Everyone is always looking to put a fun spin on the traditional wedding, and I believe that this was a perfect way to do it! Not only did it scream the theme, but it tied in the couple’s personality.
But, WAIT! Kelly and Andy’s first dance started as your typical slow and elegant dance, but it took a major turn! Just when you thought they’d lean in for a kiss, they broke out in the Thriller! What an incredible way to invite people to the floor!
One of the coolest parts of this wedding was the fact that the dance floor was always full! If you’re in the area and looking for a DJ, DJ Malik is hands-down the best that I have seen!
Kelly & Andy’s Swallow Creek Ranch wedding proves you don’t need to see the sun to make your sunset portraits magical. The fog had rolled in off the coast which made for a clean backdrop to really show off Kelly & Andy as a couple.
