I’m absolutely head over heels in love with this Mexico inspired destination La Lomita Ranch wedding in San Luis Obispo’s Edna Valley. Particularly with blue Spanish tile themed invitations from Minted. This couple was torn on a destination wedding in Mexico or a closer destination, San Luis Obispo, California. The transformation at La Lomita Ranch was impeccable. Beer burros, margaritas, maracas (and some of the most stunning colorful florals) invited the guests to truly transport themselves for a tropical Spanish celebration.
La Lomita Ranch Wedding
La Lomita Ranch boasts beautiful Spanish tile and architecture. It is complete with Spanish style accommodations for bridal party, family and other VIP guests. La Lomita Ranch provides a private venue but with the perks of being close to downtown San Luis Obispo while nestled in wine country of Edna Valley. Located between San Francisco and LA, without a doubt, it’s the perfect destination wedding venue. I would photograph every wedding here if I could. The landscape is meticulous and the pond provides such peace. Particularly, the luscious hillside vineyards feel like a best-kept secret.
The Dream Team of Vendors
Nikki Caldwell with Fluid Bloom created the amazing floral designs full of color and personality. (She also did the florals for Sarah & Ryan’s Fall Opolo Vineyard wedding.) Lisa with Live and Love Events ensured everything went smoothly. Adorable signage from Lovelyfest welcomed the guests to enjoy specialty drinks served by Bottles & Ice. Theoni Collection and Got You Covered provided reception rentals that truly transformed the space. The Class band rocked the house with live music covers of favorite songs. Not to mention, Guests took photos in the Traveling Photo Bus. Of course, Chef’s Table served yummy food and flan. Dream Catcher Artistry adorned the bride with gorgeous hair and make up. Also, her dress was a Mikaella at Paloma Blanca while the bridesmaids whore dresses from Anthropologie. Patrice Handley of Santa Barbara Classic Weddings officiated.
