K & K’s San Luis Obispo engagement session truly celebrated everything the Central Coast has to offer. Green hills in the spring and cotton candy sunsets at the beach.
We started in the beautiful Prefumo Canyon hills capturing the green of spring with all of our recent rain. The wind was questionable…but these two were absolute champs. Thankfully, our next stop was Avila Beach where the wind was gentle and the sky was pink. We found a nice little spot with less people and played in the waves.
As a film photographer, most of this San Luis Obispo engagement session was photographed on film. I snuck in a few digital images that were just too cute not to share.
The great thing about having your engagement photos in San Luis Obispo is you get to practice being in front of the camera plus you get amazing photos of the local landscape. We get to know each other better and it provides an all around more comfortable relationship. That way, when I arrive for your wedding day, we aren’t meeting for the first time face to face. At your engagement session, there isn’t anyone else around. It’s just the two of you and the scenery. I’ll guide you when needed and step back when you don’t.
